Depending on the material, motif and desired effect, we work with different engraving techniques.
From simple lettering to elaborately crafted signet rings.
Laser engraving
Laser engraving is suitable for fine and detailed motifs.
These engravings are realised off-site.
The costs are shown individually in the offer.
Machine engraving
Machine engraving is the classic form of engraving.
Ideal for lettering, data or simple symbols.
It is included with every ring.
We do not charge any additional costs for this.
Clean, precise and durable.
Hand engraving in metal
Hand engraving is one of the most original techniques in the goldsmith's trade.
It is realised by a master engraver.
Elaborate, precise and technically sophisticated.
It is mainly used for solid signet rings.
A distinction is made between:
Line engraving
Relief engraving with spatial depth
The price range is broad and generally lies between around €100 and €1,000.
Part of the costs are already incurred through organisation, shipping and insurance.

Stone engraving
Stone engraving is mainly used for signet rings.
The motif is worked directly into the stone.
Layer by layer, with high attention to detail.
We work directly with a specialised stone engraver who has mastered his craft to a high standard.
The stones are individually prepared in advance by a gemstone cutter.
