Your one-stop shop for unique, handmade rings! Our goldsmiths fuse traditional craftsmanship with the latest techniques. We have been called RINGSCHMIEDE since 2019 and our focus is entirely on the production of rings. Our concept is ring forging courses and the customisation of rings in all precious metals and alloys. Atelierhaus Mengerzeile
Our goldsmith's workshop is part of the Atelierhaus Mengerzeile. The Atelierhaus Mengerzeile e.V. is a self-managed studio house with over 20 studios on an area of approx. 2000 square metres. Since its foundation in 1993, over 100 artists from Berlin and all over the world have worked in a former piano factory at Mengerzeile 1-3 in Berlin Alt-Treptow. Currently, 38 artists from various fields such as painting, conceptual art, film, photography and design work in the studio house.
Jens Martens' goldsmith's workshop was established in 1997 on the first floor of the Atelierhaus and is now located in the basement, in the former Amiga Club of the Atelierhaus Mengerzeile.
CUSTOMISED PRODUCTION OF RINGS
As we are manufacturers and consultants in one, we can cater to your wishes in great detail. Together, we design your ring to fit your specific hand with ideal wearing comfort. As we cast or alloy each ring individually, we are very free in the implementation and can also give your family jewellery a new shape. In addition to the very personal character, this also has a sustainable aspect and is, in our opinion, the most environmentally friendly way of working with precious metals.
Forge your own rings
In our workshops, you have the unique opportunity to forge your own ring. This creates an emotional bond with your piece of jewellery that will last a lifetime. We recommend our individual one-to-one courses for making simple rings. We work together with you, from the liquid material to the finished ring, and are always flexible to fulfil your exact wishes. Experience has shown that this creates a very personal relationship with the rings.
Sustainability and ethics
Our goldsmiths attach great importance to acting responsibly. Our materials come from recycled precious metals. We obtain these from so-called refineries. These have undertaken to guarantee complete traceability of the materials used and to provide information about their origin at all times. We are proud to conserve resources and use recycled materials. You can also contribute to this by bringing in your old jewellery or gold and we will offset it or, if possible, include it in your new ring.
